Tetnight Education & Wellbeing International CIC (TEWBIT) is a UK registered Company. It was incorporated in 2011 to manage and to operate on behalf of GAYAK as well as Tetnight Education and Enterprise Foundation; both registered NGO's based in Accra - Ghana.
The NGO projects were founded and funded by Charlotte Nightingale since 2003. The overall objectives - are to change lives - make a difference through Education and training - increase opportunities, especially for girls and women - improve self-reliance, and most significantly - to break the cycle of poverty.
Goal 2 of the Millenium Development Goals advocates Universal Primary Education for all children by 2015. The reality is there are still 32 million children in sub-Sahara Africa with no access to basic education. Please help us change lives!
In addition, Tetnight Education and Wellbeing International (TEWBIT) supports The Loddon School.
The school is situated in the village of Sherfield on Loddon, in North Hampshire.
This Charitable Trust is both a home and school for 28 children who have the most severe and complex learning difficulties.
TEWBIT, in association with The Integrated Health Professionals supports the ethos of the Loddon School.
TEEF GH projects will meet the objectives of the United Nations Millennium Development Goals, which supports educational projects and self-help initiatives in Africa.
Tetnight Education and Enterprise Foundation Ghana (TEEF GH) was formally the Gayak Educational Project. Gayak is the Ghanaian abbreviation of GaDangme Yei Anoyaa Kpee - meaning GaDangme Women Development Association.
It is a self-help group comprising of mothers from the Greater Accra area of Ghana, whose aim is to improve conditions of women and children through education, both formal and informal.
In view of the Millennium Development Goals the team felt that it was essential for the Gayak Educational Project to be more inclusive, diverse and broad-based, as well as to offer real life changing opportunities to other target group in the area.
The organisation supports Youth Training to improve real job opportunities and to improve their economic and social wellbeing, personal development and entrepreneurship.
Support is also extended to girls and women to achieve economic strength through Micro level income generating activities.
Tetnight Education & Wellbeing International CIC pursues policies that foster jobs creation and employment opportunities for the target group.
